Carbon dioxide is a colourless and odourless gas. It spreads immediately in the puncture site, expanding the skin structure. The carbon dioxide stimulates the metabolism, which in turn leads to a better blood supply in the tissue. After the CO2 has been introduced into the desired areas, it simulates a lack of oxygen there. The vessels dilate and the pH value decreases. 

This has a deacidifying and purifying effect. This treatment is usually painless and requires about six treatments, at an interval of 14 days. It usually takes about six to eight weeks before for the first results are visible. The risk of side effects is very low with this treatment and you can return to work and everyday life immediately after the treatment.
